My approach to nutrition is gentle, realistic, and holistic by supporting mental, emotional, and physical healing through nourishment. This work often becomes a powerful entry point for deeper mindset shifts and self-compassion.

In addition to my professional background, I am also a parent navigating the same challenges most families face. I understand firsthand the tension between wanting to do what’s best for your child, feeling stretched thin, trying to hold space for your own identity, and longing for a family life that feels calmer, more connected, and more joyful.

This lived experience deeply informs my work. I support families not from a place of perfection, but from understanding. I believe the family is a central unit that thrives when both individuality and connection are honored.

SLowe Living. offers holistic coaching for individuals seeking alignment, presence, and fulfillment. My work integrates mindset and nervous system regulation, nutrition and nourishment, child development and family rhythm, and lifestyle-based wellness.

This is coaching, educational, and relational support. It is not medical care or therapy. I do not diagnose or treat conditions but rather walk alongside individuals as they navigate everyday life and reconnect with themselves and the life they envision.

This work is about reconnection. A return to self. A rebirth into a life and family rhythm that feels true to you. If you’re feeling called to slow down, realign, and live more intentionally for yourself or your family, I’d love to explore whether working together feels like a good fit.

I’m Shani Lowe,

a parent, a pediatrician, a holistic

wellness coach & pediatric coach.

The Connection Call is a brief, no-pressure conversation to explore whether working together feels like a good fit. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you here, what you’re hoping for, and whether my approach aligns with your needs. This call is not a coaching session and does not include medical advice.

SLowe Living. provides holistic wellness coaching, pediatric coaching, and educational services. This work does not offer medical diagnosis or treatment and does not replace care from a licensed healthcare provider.

For over fifteen years, I worked closely with children and families in traditional medical settings. Day after day, I support families through the same conversations of behavior, sleep, nutrition, school stress, overwhelm, and burnout. What I noticed over time was most families weren’t struggling because something was medically wrong. They were struggling because life felt misaligned. And truthfully, I felt that same misalignment myself.

There came a point in my own life when, on paper, everything looked right, yet internally, something felt off. I felt disconnected from myself, from joy, and from the version of life I had imagined. That experience forced me to slow down and do deep internal reflection. This started my transition from solely practicing medicine to supporting whole human beings and whole families.

One of the most meaningful parts of my work is helping people rethink their relationship with food. Food is complex. It is not just fuel, but instead it is healing, medicinal, memory, culture, emotion, comfort, and connection. So many people carry guilt, confusion, or rigidity around eating, often disconnected from their body’s wisdom.

This is me.

Why I Do This Work?

The best part of my career as a physician has always been connecting with people. But life and work had become routine—endless days of hustle, leaving little time for the things that truly mattered to me: my family, passion projects, and moments of pure joy.

So I made a bold decision: I planned financially, cut back my hours, and took my time back. I embarked on a year-long journey of self-discovery to peel back the layers of who I thought I had to be and began to rebuild my authentic self from the ground up. Along the way, I learned how to challenge my own limiting beliefs, rewrite my narrative, and create a life full of joy, purpose, and possibility.

I became a health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I found myself again, and I want to help you do the same.

My Mission.

I want to help as many people as possible spend their days truly living—free from fear, limiting beliefs, and regrets. I want you to wake up each morning feeling empowered, liberated, and ready to thrive in a life that reflects your true purpose.

If you’re ready to rewrite your story, embrace your authenticity, and live a life that leaves you in awe, let’s take the first step together.

A Little About Me.

I’m a family person through and through. My wife and kids are my greatest joys and the reason I wake up every day. When I’m not coaching or doctoring, you’ll find me traveling, baking, trying new cuisines, coaching my kids’ soccer team, or marveling at the beauty of nature.

I believe in living with intention, loving deeply, and leaving a legacy of integrity, kindness, compassion, empowerment, and abundance.

This is the life I want for myself,

my family—and for you.
